With decades of experience producing mission-critical components for the nuclear power industry, L&S Machine Co. now offers similar CNC machining services for aerospace and defense applications. We machine a wide variety of aerospace alloys to exacting tolerances and quality requirements and offer full engineering support, including design-for-manufacturability assistance.

Advanced manufacturing. The L&S production facility features an up-to-date collection of 3- and 5-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers as well as abrasive waterjet cutting for complex parts. We support prototype, small batch and production machining.

Quality assurance. Quality assurance and quality control processes run through every aspect of our manufacturing operation. Our plant features a networked quality infrastructure that allows us to apply sophisticated SPC/SQC methods and offer full traceability of every part we make. We also employ quality control professionals who conduct first-article, in-process, random in-process and finish inspections to guarantee quality and adherence to demanding QA specifications. We comply with all major aerospace and defense certifications, including ISO 9001:2015.
